Enrolment
The school year here consists of the spring semester
and the fall semester, the latter of which is the enrollment
semester for the regular freshman admitted from the
candidates who sit the National College-entrance Examination
and their total scores are at or above the score determined
by the state education authorities responsible, and
also are qualified in other requirements.
The freshman is required to arrive to go through the
enrollment procedures with the enrollment notice signed
by the university authority and other required documentation
within the time period specified. The freshman will
have a second medical check-up within three months and
those qualified will register and have the student status.
Those who fail the medical check-up shall go for treatment
and their student status can be held for a year and
if they still fail the medical check-up in the second
year, they will lose the student status.

Registration
At the beginning of the new semester, every student
is required to register with the department. In the
case of failure to register, he has go to department
to go through the formalities for leave, and those absent
for two weeks without asking for leave are thought to
drop out. |

Examination and Record of Transcripts
Test is the integral part of all the courses offered
according to the teaching plan, and is conducted in
two forms: the exam format and the check format. Those
meeting the requirements are granted the credits, and
the scores are filed in their records. The total score
for a course is practiced on the scale of percentage
and is composed of three parts: 70% of the final exam,
20% of the mid-term exam and 10% of the check on the
students¡¯ performance related to the course; or 80%
of the final exam and 20% of the mid-term exam; or for
a course concerning experiment, 70% of the final exam
and 30% of the check on the students¡¯ performance related
to the course (20% is decided by their performance on
experiment). And those absent from lecture for 1/3 of
the required attendance are not eligible for sitting
the exam and have to take the course again for the credit.
Test usually takes the form of regular exam, and the
teacher for a course can apply to the Division of Studies
for other test forms, such as combination of the oral
format and the written one, paper, a compressive assignment
(design) and so on. And credit grade average is practiced
to have the comprehensive evaluation of a student, which
is performed in the following way.
The credit grade average= grade point ¡Á credits
The total credit grade average of a semester or the
school year =the sum of the total credit grade average/
the sum of the credits of all the courses taken£º

| Student Status Affairs
Schooling is to be suspended for a student in one of
the following cases.
1.Failure to attend the lecture for 1/3 of the required
class hours for medical treatment.
2.The sum of leave and absence adds up to1/3 of the
required class hours for medical treatment.£»
3.For some reasons the university authority decides
that a student has to suspend his schooling.
Any student will be dismissed if he misses lectures
for 50 class hours. A student is permitted to graduate
and granted the diploma and the degree provided that
he meets all the requirements. For credit system is
practiced, any student can graduate in advance if he
completes the study of all the courses required and
gets the credits required. The student fails to get
the required credits when it is time for him to graduate
according to the stipulation that one is to graduate
after four years¡¯ study, he is allowed to graduate at
the fifth year from the year he is enrolled. Any student
who fails to complete the study of the required courses
or get the required credits is granted no degrees and
diplomas. |
